The Center of Biomedical Ethics and Culture (CBEC), SIUT, Karachi is pleased to announce the Call for Applications for the Postgraduate Diploma in Biomedical Ethics (PGD) Class of 2025 and the Master’s in Bioethics (MBE) Class of 2026.
The one-year PGD program has four onsite modules with distance learning components in between the contact sessions. The program is aimed at mid-career healthcare-related professionals who want formal education in biomedical ethics to be able to initiate and implement bioethics programs at their institutions.
The two-year MBE program consists of four onsite modules and distance learning components in the away periods in the first year, with thesis-related research and write-up in the second year. This program is open to mid-career individuals from healthcare-related fields, philosophy, law, social sciences, and education who wish to take up leadership roles in bioethics at their institutions.
Free accommodation on a sharing basis is provided to out-of-town students admitted to the programs.
The deadline for receiving complete applications in CBEC is August 12, 2024.
